FIs must differentiate between millennial and Gen Z banking preferences

The generational divide: We've been discussing how millennials’ and Gen Zers’ very different goals require separate marketing strategies. Coinlaw recently pinpointed three areas where their banking preferences differ the most.

Gen Z is mobile-first:

  • Gen Zers log into their mobile banking app significantly more often than millennials (21 versus 14 times per month, respectively). And 72% would rather open an account via an app than a branch.
