How interoperability stops digital wallets from capitalizing on cross-border payments

The news: More than 4 in 10 (44%) US consumers prefer to send or receive a cross-border payment by digital wallet, per a PYMNTS Intelligence and Terrapay survey.

Of those, 67% said they want to receive the payment from the same digital wallet the sender used.

Why this matters: Despite a strong preference for them, digital wallet use for cross-border payments is limited by the lack of interoperability.
