The news: Ochsner Health System’s digital health program, Ochsner Digital Medicine, is now offering a comprehensive weight less solution with access to obesity medications.

• Ochsner rolled out its cardiometabolic solution over 9 years ago, and has since delivered care to more than 50,000 patients with hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and hyperlipidemia.
• As part of the broadened solution, patients can now be prescribed GLP-1 medications, if deemed clinically appropriate.
• Ochsner is providing the new offering through its contracts with payers and employers, as well as its own employee health plan.
