Methodology: Data is from the December 2025 CarGurus and NielsenIQ "2025 Consumer Insights Report." 3,030 US adults ages 18-65 who purchased or sold a new or used vehicle in the past four months were surveyed during May-June 2025. Respondents could qualify as both buyers and sellers. Results were weighted to be representative of the US auto market by demographics (age, gender, income) and market factors (new/used, price point, etc.).
