TikTok looks to keep US creators engaged by upping subscription revenue sharing

The news: TikTok is increasing subscription revenue shares for US and Canadian creators, now offering them as much as 90% of subscription earnings, per a company announcement. The change marks TikTok’s first move to keep a key creator segment engaged since President Trump signed an executive order to keep the app operational in the US.

According to TikTok, creators with at least 10,000 subscribers and a minimum of 1 million video views in the last month will receive a 70% revenue share maximum, with the added chance for a 20% bonus.
